About the 'Ten'

The date of the first Highworth 10 is lost in the mists of time.

The likeliest candidate was between Christmas and New Year 1989 while some feel it may have been a year earlier. Whatever the date a decision was made to head for Highworth and attempt to drink a pint in each of the pubs in an evening.

This simple and drunken idea has stood the test of time and while some of the pubs have gone, some of the people have gone and the drinking ability of most has definitely gone the event stands as the highlight of the year.

This blog/website will talk about the pubs and some of the stuff that has happened during the 20+ years of the 'Ten'. It will also feature the 'Not So Great Prediction Competition'.
